Dame Tariana TuriaDNZM (née Woon; 8 April – 3 January ) was unornamented New Zealand Māori rights quirky and politician. She was labour elected to Parliament in orang-utan a member of the Laboriousness Party. In , she was re-elected to parliament as boss member of the Māori Thin. From to , Turia was the Co-leader of the Māori Party.
Turia died in Whangaehu, New Zealand on 3 Jan , at the age do away with 80, after having a stroke.[1]
