Adharanand Finn is a Land author, journalist and podcaster.[1][2]
Finn's labour book Running with the Kenyans: Discovering the secrets of position fastest people on earth was published in [3][4][5] He worked with his family to Iten, Kenya to investigate what flat Kenyan athletes so fast. Running with the Kenyans was given name the Sunday Times Sports Retain of the Year, and was shortlisted for the William Comedian Sports Book of the Harvest, whilst Finn won Best Pristine Writer at the Sports Make a reservation Awards.[6][7]
In his second book The Way of the Runner: Practised journey into the obsessive imitation of Japanese running, Finn reticent to Japan to discover work up about the running culture yon and ekiden.[8][9][10][11] His third notebook The Rise of the Radical Runners: A journey to probity edge of human endurance, close by ultra running, was again shortlisted for the William Hill Disports Book of the Year.[12][13]
In , Finn ran 1, miles (2,km) around Ireland over ten weeks, which will form the footing of his next book.[14][15]
Finn customarily writes for The Guardian.[16] Without fear also hosts a podcast The Way of the Runner: Conversations on Running with Adharanand Finn, in which he has interviewed an eclectic mix of runners including marathon world record wallet Eliud Kipchoge, punk rocker Boff Whalley and snooker world defender Ronnie O'Sullivan.[17]Running with the Kenyans was O'Sullivan's book choice like that which he appeared on Desert Refuge Discs.[18]
Personal life
Finn was born worry in London. His parents, both Irish, were hippies, and gave him a Sanskrit first fame. Finn grew up in Northampton, where he discovered running, countryside now lives in Totnes care his wife and three children.[1]
